Picking a face wash can often be like finding a needle in a haystack. Everyone’s skin is different, which is why you see companies creating multiple different products. They are trying to reach many different skin types, but to create one face wash that works for everyone can be almost impossible.
Other Face Washes
In the ten months that I suffered from horrific cystic acne, which covered from my forehead down to my neck. I tried multiple face washes in hopes of hitting the jackpot. In the beginning, I would walk the aisle of Target’s beauty comparing the acne face washes. This proved to be miserable fail. From burning, tingling, excessive drying, peeling, and the feeling of a volcano erupting on my face, I had it all. I tried product after product in pursuit of the Holy Grail one, my journey was a long one.
Eventually, I realized that trying so many different products wasn’t beneficial. Giving your skin two weeks with a product usually lets you know if it is going to do anything or not. However, if your face is burning, peeling, or getting excessively dried out do not continue past the first sign of these symptoms.
My skin is extremely sensitive, within three days I usually know whether or not a product is working. Let me tell you, many of those acne face washes you see at Target, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, and more have so many harsh products in them. Those harsh chemicals on top of an acne cream is a highway to hell for sensitive skin like mine. My skin got so dry at certain points that it cracked and bled. Yes, that’s right, my face bled from being so dry and no amount of moisturizer would help.
Finally, I stumbled across a pin on Pinterest that promoted Just Natural Acne Face and Body Wash. This honestly saved my skin and my sanity. With an ingredients list that you can actually read and understand, it is made for all types of skin and particularly acne prone skin.
Just Natural Acne Face and Body Wash
From the first time I used it, the face wash was creamy and bubbled. It felt smooth against my mountain terrain skin at the time. It did not burn or dry out my skin. I use it to this day, twice a day, and have not had any problems with excessive drying or burning. Its natural ingredients keep my skin moisturized to maximize healthy as my scars are slowly fading.
For the price of $15.99 you get 16 oz. I use it twice a day it lasts me around three months and sometimes more. I only need one pump for my face and it is more than sufficient. This product was my lifesaver when my face hurt so bad that I couldn’t rest it against a pillow.
In my horrid experience of acne, and the recovery road that I now am on with my skin I have found it responds better to all-natural products. A lot better and quicker than the over-priced and over-advertised ones you see at the store. It still takes time, but it has been worth it so far.
Using an acne face wash, cleanser, and medication is extremely harsh on sensitive skin so try to limit the harsh products. Some products can actually cancel each other out or intensify them, read about them to make sure before using. Nothing is worse than going from bad acne to worse when you are trying to get it to go away.
Honest Review, Not Sponsored
This post is not sponsored but just my honest opinion and review of a face wash that helped me save my skin, because remember, my skin was bleeding at one point and now I am dealing with one or two pimples and scarring. I’ve come a long way but still have a journey to go, this face wash will continue with me on it.
