Our skin goes through a lot during a day and when you travel it goes through even more. Taking care of your skin should be a high priority as it is your barrier against the outside world. This is a sensitive skin review of the Luna Mini 2 from a traveler’s prospective. While I do have extremely sensitive skin, I do also have combination skin, which means my skin gets extremely oily and dry at different times of the year. After doing hours of research I decided to buy the Luna mini 2 over the Luna and the Luna play.
While the Luna comes in 3 different skin types to better match your skin type: combination, sensitive/normal, and ultra-sensitive. After all the research, I found that people with sensitive skin did not really find a difference with the Luna and the Luna Mini 2. Since I have extremely sensitive skin, but it also gets oily and dry I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t irritate my skin. As I have had a Clarisonic before and it was always drying my skin out.
As for the Luna play, I think it is a great alternative to those who want to save a bit of money, but for an investment I would go with the Luna Mini 2.
5 Reasons the Luna Mini 2 Should Be Added to Your Routine
Like I mentioned above, I use to use a Clarisonic and trying to keep the brush head clean when traveling or even at home was a nightmare, plus it was way too abrasive on my face. Since I am a big traveler, the antibacterial silicone is perfect to lower stress on my part about keeping the products I use on my face clean.
Perfect handheld size
The Luna is larger size and while it’ll definitely fit in your hand, if you happen to have smaller hands it might be a bit much to hold. Then compared to the Luna play, which is considered to be the travel size, is very small. To me this is way too small. It is hard to hold and the Luna Mini 2 is not that big to travel with.
Travel size still
The Luna Mini 2 is in my opinion the perfect size to travel with and to have at home. It is the in between size from the Luna and the Luna play, so it can stay and travel incredibly easy.
Perfect for all skin types
Like I said above, while the Luna has different versions for different skin types; however, the Luna Mini 2 has not bothered my extremely sensitive skin. If you are worried then I would start out using the Luna Mini 2 twice a week or every other day and see how your skin reacts.
Battery lasts for many months
Let’s be honest we all hate a dead battery and remembering all the chargers can be a struggle as well. The Foreo products are known to stay charged for multiple months, like 5 months! This means is you’re a traveler like me then you won’t have to worry about another thing to charge.
Your skin goes through so much in a day and when you travel your skin suffers even more. The dry air on the airplane, humid or dry environments, and just like jet lay your skin has to get use to new environments. I have found that using this when I travel helps keep it in check and more acne-free than just washing my face like normal. So home or away the Luna Mini 2 is the best investment I have made for my skin.
